I make music to make light of life. We all live such similar existences and there’s magic in realising that when you stumble across a lyric that feels so succinct and perfect that it “explains everything.” I write because I want to make sense of my own experiences and also create that sense of magic for others so they too can feel less alone. I make music because I need my poetry to be that much more memorable.
